Please read everything carefully before applying — this form is designed to help both of us find out if this is genuinely a good fit.

Are you the kind of person who genuinely lights up when someone new walks into a space? Do you remember people's names, notice when someone's gone quiet, and know exactly what to say to make them feel like they belong?

This role is for you — if you're a natural at holding people, not at leading them.

Who I Am

I'm Yasmine Madkour — Body Psychotherapist, somatic therapist & sexologist, online educator, and the founder of a growing Arabic-speaking community of women on a journey of healing and self-discovery. My community is across live virtual events and programs and has its dedicated platform.

I'm looking for someone to be the warm, steady presence that holds the community together — welcoming new members, supporting existing ones, facilitating live events, and making sure no one falls through the cracks.

Community Host & Member Experience Specialist

You'll be the warm, steady presence that holds the community together — the first person a new member hears from, and the one who notices when someone goes quiet.

Section 0: Role Main Responsibilities

Welcome & onboard new members — make them feel seen, oriented, and excited from day one
Facilitate live virtual events and community calls — co-host sessions, hold the space, keep things running smoothly (on camera sometimes, behind the scenes other times)
Member retention — notice who's disengaging, reach out before they drift, build real relationships over time
Member support — handle questions and issues about the community and programs with patience and warmth
Community health — keep the space positive, safe, and engaged
Contribute ideas — suggest activities and experiences that deepen member connection

This Role is for you if You are:

✅ Warm and genuinely people-oriented — members should feel your care immediately ✅ Fluent Arabic writer — you write beautifully in Arabic, with the right tone for a women's healing and growth space ✅ Comfortable in English too — for bilingual communications ✅ Well-presented and at ease on camera when needed ✅ A supporter by nature — you find meaning in making others' experiences great, not in leading your own ✅ Organized enough to track member journeys, follow up on issues, and report back ✅ Proactive — you notice things and act before being asked ✅ Comfortable receiving direction from more than one person (i.e. my assistant, or community/program ambassadors)— you ask clarifying questions upfront, not mid-execution

✅ Based in an Arab country, or with overlap with Arab countries time-zone (Egypt, Levant, and North Africa are all within 1–2 hours — ideal)

✅ Comfortable learning new digital tools — Circle (our community platform) experience is a plus, but not required. You'll have a full support tools to guide you through any feature you're unsure about

This Role Is a Better Fit Elsewhere If:

❌ You're a practitioner at heart — your energy is in doing the healing work yourself, not in supporting the space around it ❌ You're in a season of building something of your own — this role asks for full presence and investment in someone else's vision ❌ You're looking for a role that gives you visibility as an expert or a platform to grow a personal audience ❌ Written Arabic doesn't come naturally to you — the community speaks Arabic primarily and tone matters deeply here

The community: Primarily Arabic-speaking women. Lives across Circle, WhatsApp, and live virtual events and programs. Founded and led by Yasmine Madkour — somatic therapist, online educator, and community builder based in Barcelona.

This is a supporting role. You are the presence that holds the space — not the expert, not the practitioner, not the face of the brand. Your job is to make every member feel like she belongs.

Section 1: Work Conditions

This is a part-time remote role, approximately 10–20 hours per week
The primary focus is community hosting, member welcome, event facilitation, and member retention.
The community is primarily Arabic-speaking, and strong Arabic writing is essential
Tools: Community Platform, ClickUp, Google Workspace, Email Newsletter Tool. (You will get proper training and will be supported by Guide Notebook LMs for these tools).
Compensation is $200–350 USD/month, or what is equivalent in EGP (if you are in Egypt).
The role requires availability during Barcelona/CET working hours for live events and real-time support
This is a supporting role — you will be representing the community, not leading it or building your own platform within it
A confidentiality agreement will be required before onboarding begins
If any of the above doesn't work for you at this time, this may not be the right opportunity. No hard feelings — feel free to close the form.
